STATEMENT OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

* From our CY-2007 Distribution Report

• Total Distribution – 12,078,444 pounds (roughly 400 Tractor Trailer Loads).
• Total Pounds to agencies and Subsidiary Distribution Offices: 11,195,715 (92.7%)
• Total Pounds to other Food Banks & useful purposes: 489,930 (4%)
• Total Pounds to recycle/trash: 392,799 (3.3%)

* 88% of monetary donations go directly to Program Services with 12% used for administrative costs.

* Obtained Alabama State Tax Exemption through a legislative Effort.

* Procured a new 26 foot refrigerated truck that was 80% financed through service club and business organization donations.

* Improved Service Programs

• Increased service to our underserved areas primarily through Mobile Pantry Program.
• Increased and improved distribution through our Senior Supplement Program.

* Completed plans for Warehouse Expansion of 9,200 sq ft which will include a new cooler and additional office space.
