The Mobile Pantry Program is a direct distribution program.  The concept is simple.  Agencies of the Food Bank choose a site and a date for the event.  They advertise it to their clients, and on the appointed day, the Food Bank truck arrives with a large assortment (at least 10,000-12,000 pounds - 10 pallets) of nutritious foods, including fresh produce.  The clients receive foods they need at no cost to them.   For more information on how your organization can conduct a Mobile Pantry, contact Jolene Kearns at 263-3784 or email her at jolenekearns@earthlink.net.                             .
The Senior Supplement Program is an enrollment program for persons aged 60 and above, who are not able to obtain sufficient food for a healthy diet with their own resources.  The clients receive the boxes of non-perishable food, weighing 25-35 pounds, during the third week of the month. Additional foods, including a ham or turkey, are provided in November and December.
