There are FOUR (4) Feeding America network food banks in Alabama.  Each is recognized by Feeding America as food banks in good-standing.  For Partner Distribution Organizations (PDOs) to access the benefits available of operating under the 3rd largest charity in America, PDOs in our service area are responsible to Montgomery Area Food Bank for overall compliance ranging from food safety to branding.  MAFB is responsible for ensuring the PDOs in our service area ensure Feeding America standards are maintained.

For example, the MAFB service area is comprised of 35 of Alabama's 67 counties.  To provide assistance throughout this expansive 24,921 square mile area, MAFB has four Partner Distribution Organizations in Selma, Tuscaloosa, Auburn and Dothan,  Please review the list of counties below - depending on where you live, you may be served either by MAFB directly or through one of our PDOs. To receive assistance, simply reach out to the PDO within your area and they will provide you with several local agencies who can assist you directly.
