Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
We will be making that product available to agency shopping with certain stipulations necessary to ensure that the product is going to households of Alabama families with children living in the home under the age of 18. Partner agencies who wish to order this product must complete the following prior to being able to place an order for TANF:

• Email the Director of Partner Services
( with the request to obtain TANF product.
• Provide the number of families served each month (intending to receive TANF product).
• Receive confirmation from the Director of Partner Services that an order may be placed.

Once an agency has completed the steps above, they will be placed on a list of eligible agencies and can now place a pre-order for TANF items based on established catalog limits.

Office staff making appointments and accepting pre-orders will verify the agency is eligible for TANF product by confirming the agency is on the list and complete the order.

If an agency tries to pre-order TANF product and has not been approved, they will be notified of the process and will be eligible to receive it once they have received a confirmation email from the Director of Partner Services. TANF product must be stored separately or labeled in such a way to easily facilitate distribution of this product to only TANF eligible families.
