The Montgomery Area Food Bank has gone back to normal operating hours. However, we are staying within the "Safer at Home" guidelines including Social Distancing and will continue to limit personal contact by utilizing pre-order shopping ONLY.
•Appointments are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
•Appointment times: 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 (Limit 5 appointments per hour)
Note: We are accepting PRE-ORDERS ONLY to allow time to fully execute this process.
•We highly encourage you to send your pre-order in as soon as you make your appointment. We MUST have the pre-order no later than 3 (THREE) full working days prior to your scheduled appointment.
•We will make every attempt to contact you if an item is no longer available (note truckloads are being received every day). Because of the reduced Shared Handling Fee still in effect, orders have been very large. Please adhere to limits noted on the catalog.
•On the day of your appointment- please remain in your vehicle in the parking lot- you will be asked to move up to load by warehouse personnel. We still do not have inmates, so continue to bring help to load your order.
•Recurring appointments: we apologize for the inconvenience however due to the rapidly changing environment we cannot accept recurring appointments at this time.
Note regarding Mobile Pantries:
•Market Spot shopping is the Montgomery Area Food Bank’s main program for distribution of product. The Mobile Pantry Program was created to assist the food bank in moving product that does not move in the Market Spot, has a short shelf life and to reach rural areas that need the extra help. Whether we can provide Mobile Pantries, and whether they are Singles or Doubles- is dependent on the product we have that must be moved and cannot be guaranteed.
•Check the date on the catalog- if it is not showing current date, click the REFRESH button next to the Home button at the top of the webpage.
•All available product is on the catalog. You cannot add to the order once it is placed.
•All pre-orders must be received THREE business days before your scheduled appointment.
•Limits noted on catalog are being strictly enforced due to high demand.
As you know, the COVID-19 crisis has impacted each of our lives. As we evaluate our future plans, we feel it will be in our agencies best interest to reschedule our annual Agency Conference (2020) that is normally held in October.
We will advise everyone regarding a new date and place for the conference as soon as we are able.
Thank you for your understanding as we strive to keep our agencies and staff safe during this pandemic.
