AGENCIES PLEASE REMEMBER....
the food donated to the Montgomery Area Food Bank is given to us because it is past the date it can be sold in a store.  It does not mean the food is not edible, it just can not be sold.  If you are in doubt how long an item will be good, click the "Just How Long Food Good?" Book below.  It will open and you can read on the computer or print it for reference. (NOTE:  This is a large file and may take a few seconds to load..be patient)

Congratulations
To One Of Our Own

Pastor Thaylee Dickerson, Director of MAFB Partner Agency United Christian Church in Prattville, was one of eight Alabama Pastors honored with the Pastoral Humanitarian Award at the 6th Annual Alabama People’s Choice Awards.
This award is presented to Alabama pastors who work tirelessly to promote human welfare.  Since 2004, Pastor Dickerson, along with United Christian Church and the Oasis of Hope Foundation, has served thousands of people in need in Prattville and throughout the River Region.
They have provided:
•  Over 1,000 book bags filled with school
   supplies to young children;
•  300 pairs of shoes and 400 hundred
   coats to people in need; and,
•  Over 100,000 pounds of food (over
  90,000 pounds of which was supplied by
  MAFB) to more than 2,000 families.

WAY TO GO
PASTOR DICKERSON!!!
